the lovely blogger Ashley G, has been keeping up with all the recent work of Scad Fashion students. Lucky for me she was in attendance at my gallery show ( and Mr. Xavier DRDM and Jake Ellis) that I showed my final senior collection on live models. Y’ALL, my friend Erin’s boyfriend has a band, Aurora, and they released this song. I like it because #1 It has the word “witches” in it, so instant like. #2 Love a good synth. #3 IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I’M YOUNG AND HAVE NO WORRIES.

I wanna thank my daughter, Alice, for being the funniest person in my family. For coining phrases like “I want to go to there” and sometimes just putting on pretend make-up in the mirror, and she’ll turn to me and say, “I look like Barack Obama.” She has somehow gotten it in her head that it’s a good thing to resemble a famous politician. I don’t know where she got that idea.
